Entropy generation on Linux virtual machines

This article shows that Linux regular number generators (such as /dev/random) do not work in an acceptable way when the Linux system is virtualized. To fix this issue, it proposes to use the “havaged” daemon which implements the HAVEGE pseudo-random number generator developed by IRISA.
